Decent Software, Room for Improvement

I purchased the Generic PHP Shopping Cart and an Ecommerce Hosting bundle. The ordering process was straightforward on their website. Installing the cart itself was a bit more involved than I expected; the documentation helped, but some parts felt a little outdated. Yeah, it integrates with a ton of payment gateways. PayPal, Stripe, Authorize.net... they have a whole list on their site. You shouldn't have trouble finding one that works for you.

It's different because you own the software with Ecommerce Templates, not like Shopify where you pay monthly for everything. More control, but more work on your end for hosting and maintenance.

Yeah, it's less 'all-in-one' than Shopify. You get more flexibility to customize your site exactly how you want with ECT, especially if you're comfortable with Dreamweaver or CSS. But you're responsible for your own hosting and updates, which Shopify handles for you.

Since it's digital software, there isn't really 'shipping' time. You get access pretty much instantly after purchase. Support usually replies within a day for me.

Yeah, once your payment goes through, you get the download links right away. For support, I've had varied experiences but usually within 24 hours during weekdays. Being on the West Coast doesn't really matter for digital stuff.
